Great Game Last Night
Final Score 35-0 against Frankfurt. Needless to say I'll let you find a sports sight to gather game details. But I sat in the stands during the entire game and must admit it was fun to cheer and do all those 'fan-type' activities.
The band was very good and their half-time performance was excellent. The Homecoming ceremony was smooth and it was fun to look around the stands and see the faces of all the proud parents of those children. The new bleacher seats were very comfortable, if not a little chilling while sitting but it was a football game, right? The hand-railings lent a terrific sense of safety for all of us who are just a bit squimish with heights.
The Chili Dinner beforehand was well attended and the food offered by some of the local restaurants and Hansens Foods was delicious.
And for all the childhood friends and teammates of Mr. Pline, let it be "known" that he caught the ball and is now in the game. He had to reach ahead of a former Rugby player from London to have it in hand, but he did it. He's in the game now! :)
